ABOUT ME

My name is Luis Fernando Romo Rodríguez, I am 25 years old, and I am a Civil Engineer, graduated from the University of Sonora, with honors. I have three years of experience in executive projects and a great passion for structural engineering. I am always looking for new ways to acquire knowledge and grow both personally and professionally.

Throughout my career, I have worked on a wide variety of projects, ranging from roadways to bridges and buildings. These experiences have allowed me to develop a problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to the daily challenges of a civil engineer.

Currently, I am in charge of the Budget and Bridge areas. Although I have worked on drafting plans that cover almost all areas of a roadway project, I can confidently say that the Bridge area has captivated me the most, especially since it belongs to the structural field.

During my academic and professional training, I discovered my interest in Structural Design, which motivated me to take several courses in Structural Modeling (specifically in AutoDesk's Robot Structural). I successfully completed the basic and intermediate level courses, as well as taking other supplementary courses on structural topics. My next goal is to complete an advanced course and further specialize, particularly in building and bridge design.

Outside of my professional field, I consider myself a person passionate about various activities that allow me to disconnect and enjoy life. I am a big fan of American football, a sport that has taught me the importance of teamwork, strategy, and dedication. I also greatly enjoy series, books, movies, and video games with medieval themes, as I find everything related to those eras, fantasy, and epic stories fascinating.

In my daily life, I always make time to spend with my family and close friends, as I believe those moments are what truly enrich and give meaning to life. I also have a dog named Odin, whom I adore. He is a loyal companion who reminds me of the importance of enjoying the little things and being present in the moment.

I consider myself fortunate to be able to say that I love my profession, to the point where I don’t feel like I’m actually working, but simply doing what I enjoy.
